Request Commissioners Court consideration and approval for contract change order No. 14 to Ratcliff Constructors for IFB 2021-239, Construction, Collin County Adult Detention Facility, Phase 1.
PCO 38 – Owner requested add to feed HVAC and Electric to the future female pod. At bid time, we did not know if we could afford to do this work. Since funds are available, we would like to get this done now instead of interrupting operations when constructing the addition. This will add 21 days to the schedule. $217,302.83
PCO 45 – Owner requested add to change a floor drain to a flushing floor drain. This area will be a calming cell and requires a flushing drain. This will add 3 days to the schedule. $4,827.31
PCO 49 – Owner requested add to install sleeves and a weather head to run cabling for the Motorola antenna system on construction is completed. This will add 1 day to the schedule. $8,108.01
PCO 50 – Architect requested add to include through wall flashing at the top of the retaining wall. This added flashing will keep moisture out of the space between the retaining wall and the corridor extending from the existing building this will add 1 day to the schedule. $2,018.28
This change order adds a total of 26 days to the schedule. Previous completion date 4/10/24. New completion date 5/6/24.
