Department Action

The Collin County, Information Technology department, requests approval for a budget amendment for our annual scanning services. The original funding source is no longer available for use that was approved for the FY22 Budget on our annual larger scanning projects for the DA, SO, and Juvenile Probation offices.

The County IT Records department can no longer use the Records Preservation funds, 044, per the statue. This was not a known issue when approved for the FY22 budget. SB 41 Local Government Code Section 135.154 County Records Management and Preservation Account.

IT recommends the use of IT Shared, 668704, savings from the hardware refresh project. If approved then IT recommends to re-advertise our digital scanning RFP.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval of specifications for RFP 2022-210, Digital Imaging Services and advertise for same. ha
