Request Commissioners' Court consideration and approval of Amendment No. 1 to Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects Contract RFQ 2021-353 for:
Phase Two Cost Estimating of the Collin County Detention Center in the amount of $55,500.00. Added because we had to change from Construction Manager at Risk format back to a hard bid format.
Phase Two Additional Civil Engineering Services in the amount of $9,000.00. We expanded the area to include a parking area north of the construction site.
Adult Detention Center Design Services to continue with a portion of the Master-Plan-defined, Phase 3 renovations design services in the amount of $210,195.00 to demo and renovate the current clinic/infirmary area into a new 24-bed skilled nursing area. This is one of the planned renovation areas that we need to design now, due to its proximity to the Medical/Mental Health building we are currently designing.
Total amount of this change order is $274,695.00 or 0.04% of contract.
