CCSO respectfully requests approval to apply for the FY 2022 UASI DVE Grant, in the amount of $111,812.00. This will fund two Fusion Center Research Analysts for 12 months. The performance period for this grant is from September 1, 2022, through August 31, 2023, with no county match.
The difference of UASI Domestic Violent Extremism (DVE) Grant, is the fusion process proactively seeks to identify threats posed by terrorists – including domestic violent extremists – and stops them before they occur. This project will partially fund two intelligence Analysts to perform data mining activities, reporting, and monitoring specifically associated with combating domestic violent extremism.

FY 2022 UASI Regional Grant to partially fund salary and benefits for 2 existing positions in the Fusion Center. (No increase in headcount.) When combined with the FY 2022 UASI Fusion Analysts DVE Grant, the two grants will fund 2 existing positions at 100%. Grant term is September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023.

Auditor's Office Action

Fund partial salary and benefits for two full time Sheriff’s Office Research Analysts for the Fusion Center. Federal funds in the amount of $111,812 with no county match required. Grant period is from 9/1/2022-8/31/2023. **This grant only funds a portion of the salary and fringe for these 2 positions. There is another grant application to fund the remainder of the salary and fringe for the 2 positions.**
