Department Action

This is notification to Commissioners Court of the submission to the U.S. Department of Treasury for the second tranche of the ARPA/CSLFRF funds.

For reference, Commissioners Court approved the acceptance of the county’s full allocation ($200,984,172.00) of funds with court order 2021-471-05-17. The Court subsequently approved the use of the ARPA/CSLFRF funds for capital projects with court order 2021-553-06-07. According to the U.S. Treasury’s guidance, recipients would receive the funds in two tranches. The first tranche of funding for the County was received in May 2021. Our office received notice of the requirements for requesting the second tranche of funding. The necessary information was submitted via the U.S. Treasury’s Submission Portal to secure the remaining ARPA/CSLFRF funding.
