Department Action

The Juvenile Probation Department, acting the Collin County Juvenile Board has executed a budget amendment to pay for staffing matrix changes to meet medical services needs for youth lawfully detained in the juvenile detention center. In concert with this budget amendment, the juvenile probation seeks Collin County Commissioners Court consideration and approval to amend the current contract for medical services. The budget amendment to meet the needed increase in the staffing matrix for juvenile medical services is $77,868.00. Funding to cover this cost is being taken from the department’s established operational budget.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding: (1) approval of Amendment No. 6 to Contract No. 2015-122, Services: Inmate Health Care with Southwest Correctional Medical Group, PLLC to increase staffing at the Juvenile Detention Facility per the attached documentation; and (2) authorization for Purchasing Agent to execute the same.
