Attached for review is the 4^th quarter Revision of WIC contract funding for FY 2022 with Health and Human Services (HHSC) for Women, Infant and Children (WIC) to provide supplemental food benefits, nutrition education and counseling. The program is meant to enhance good health care at no cost to low-income pregnant and postpartum women, infants and children, identified to be at nutritional risk. The WIC services are 100% funded by HHSC.

The funding amount for 10/1/2021 thru 09/30/2022 remains at level funding as shown by only a redistribution amount of $6,960 from the Extra Funding project to the Registered Dietitian project resulting in the same contract total of $1, 450,468.00.

I respectfully request review of the attached 4^th Quarter FY 2022 WIC funding for contract # HHS000801700001 with Health and Human Services.
