Department Action

Collin County currently has a License Agreement (DACW63-3-17-0535) with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers that allows us to utilize Corps property adjacent to Sister Grove Park for hike and bike trails. This agreement is scheduled to expire on September 25, 2022.

The Engineering department is seeking renewal of this contract for an additional 5 years, which would have a new expiration date of September 25, 2027. There is a $400 administrative fee charged by the Corp for this renewal and these funds are available in the Open Space budget.

Recommended Action: It is requested that the Commissioners Court
1. Approve the attached agreement with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers,
2. Authorize the County Judge to execute the agreement,
3. Authorize the County Clerk to sign the affidavit,
4. Authorize payment of $400 from Open Space 0001-65030-0001-76-30-0000-658701.
