The Collin County Sheriff’s Office respectfully requests Commissioners Court approval of Amendment No. 1 to the Guardian RFID Agreement (2022-135) and the use Collin County Sheriff’s Office, Fund 734 – Inmate Commissary Account Number 700020134, per the attached documentation. The additional equipment and software are necessary to ensure successful implementation of the new Guardian RFID system and transition from Guard One.

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding (1) approval of Amendment No. 1 to 2022-135 Inmate RFID System with Codex Corporation dba Guardian RFID to purchase additional equipment and software in the amount of $19,035.25 and update the extended renewal term rates in Addendum B Fee Payment Schedule; and (2) authorization for Purchasing Agent to execute the same.
