The Collin County Sheriff’s Office respectfully requests Commissioners Court approval of Amendment No. 2 to the Guardian RFID Agreement (2022-135) per the attached documentation and the use of Collin County Sheriff’s Office Inmate Commissary Fund 734 – Account Number 700020134 to purchase 22,500 RFID chips for $17,017.50. The purchase of additional equipment is necessary to continue the successful use of the Guardian RFID system.

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding (1) approval of Amendment No. 2 to 2022-135 Inmate RFID System with Codex Corporation dba Guardian RFID to add Addendum E to reflect additional purchases with fixed pricing; and (2) authorization for Purchasing Agent to execute the same.
