Department Action

I am requesting acceptance of the FY 2023 Internet Crimes Against Children Grant with the City of Dallas for October 1, 2022, through September 30, 2023. The City of Dallas has agreed to reimburse the Collin County District Attorney’s Office up to $10,000 for training, travel, and equipment related to combating internet-based crimes against children.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval to (1) enter in to an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Dallas; (2) accept the North Texas Internet Crimes Against Children (NTICAC) grant for $10,000 with no County match required; and (3) authorize County Judge to execute agreement. The grant period is October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023. gz

HR and/or IT Action

Budget Department Action

District Attorney’s Internet Crimes Against Children Interlocal Agreement with the City of Dallas. Grant in the amount of $10,000 in State Funds with no County Match required. Grand funding can be used on anything directly benefiting ICAC personnel, including laptops, licenses, travel and training. The Interlocal Agreement and Grant period are from October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023.

Auditor's Office Action

Grant award reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. ICAC Interlocal agreement with the DA for FY 2023 in the amount of $10,000 with no matching funds required. Grant period is from 10/1/2022 through 9/30/2023. Grant funds to be used in the area of online child abuse cases.
