Request Commissioners Court consideration and approval of Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects proposal to estimate the cost of an addition to the Juvenile Detention Center. This addition will contain one cluster, which will house 48 inmates. Wiginton Hooker Jeffery Architects, which has since merged into Brinkley Sargent Wiginton, created the original drawings for this project in 2009. Due to this knowledge of the original drawings, I believe that Brinkley Sargent Wiginton is the most qualified company to provide an updated estimate for this project. This estimate will be provided to the Planning Board for possible inclusion in a future Bond Election. $11,500.00

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval to deem Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects, Inc. the most qualified firm to provide an updated cost estimate for the Juvenile Detention Center Addition and further, accept their proposal for these services.
Wiginton Hooker Jeffery Architects, which has since merged into Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects, Inc., was awarded Agreement No. 01334-09, Professional Services, Architect: Addition to John R Roach Juvenile Detention Center, as the highest evaluated offeror and created the original drawings for this project in 2009. The resulting estimate will be provided to the Planning Board for possible inclusion in a future Bond Election. jdg
