Department Action

The Collin Count Sheriff’s Office is respectfully requesting Commissioners Court consideration and approval to accept a donation of one (1) dog, valued at approximately $3,000.00, from Operation Mutt22 for use within the Detention Facility.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding the approval to accept the donation of one (1) dog for the use by the Detention Facility from Operation Mutt22. The approximate value is $3,000. MC

HR and/or IT Action

The Sheriff's Office has indicated that the at home care of the dog will be handled by an exempt level employee at the Lieutenant level. Any at home care (feeding, walking, training, grooming, clean up, etc), transport to and from the office, visits to the vet or any care required for the dog outside of work hours by any nonexempt personnel must be compensated.

Budget Department Action

Request for acceptance of a dog for use in the Adult Detention Center. Department will be responsible for food, supplies, vaccinations and all care related to the dog and intend to use Commissary Funds. The dog will live with an assigned handler.

Auditor's Office Action
