FYI to Commissioners Court for Change Order No. 2 to Nouveau Construction and Technology Services L.P. for Construction, North Employee Door Repairs, Steindam Courts Building for PCO 2 - Owner required change to add break metal to cover the aluminum framing system to hide glue. Upon demolition of the system to insert the new doors we found the framing system did not snap apart, as it does in most systems with which we are familiar, glue attached the framing covers to the frame. Removing the glue would cause additional damage to the frame so new covers are required.
