The Farm-to-Market (FM) 546/County Road (CR) 400 project is an alignment study for a six-lane major thoroughfare from the intersection of Harry McKillop Boulevard and FM 546 in McKinney, Texas, to U.S. 380 at Boorman Lane in Princeton, Texas. The purpose of this study is to establish precisely the route that this roadway will follow.

The study was divided into two parts because the work required in the segments is substantially different, with the eastern segment having much of the alignment already set. The eastern segment which we are calling phase one is from Bridgefarmer Rd. to U.S. 380 at Boorman Ln. This first phase is being conducted in collaboration with the cities of Lowry Crossing and Princeton. The consultant project team is led by BGE, Inc.

The Project Manager from BGE, Inc. will give a presentation on the history of the development of the alignment alternatives for this Segment and describe the process by which we took to determine the preferred alternative.

ACTION:

After the presentation is completed, we ask that you hold a Public Hearing to receive input from the public. Collin County Engineering and BGE staff will be present to take any questions from the public and the Commissioners Court.
After the Hearing is closed, we ask for the Court's consideration of approval for the preferred alignment as presented.
