Department Action

Request extension of Testing: Postmortem toxicology contract # IFB No. 2015-286 for a one year period from October 1, 2016 through and including September 30, 2017. Pricing will have an overall increase of up to 3 %.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding the approval of Change Order No. 1 to IFB No. 2015-286, Testing: Postmortem Toxicology, to 1) include a price redetermination per section 4.5 of the contract, (see attached) for an overall increase of up to 3% and 2) to extend the contract for the period October 1, 2016 continuing through and including September 30, 2017 and further allow purchasing agent to execute the same.

Funds available in the General Fund. Budget anticipated to be approved for FY 2017.

Commissioners Court

No. 1 to Testing: Postmortem Toxicology (IFB No. 2015-286) with National Medical Services, Inc. (NMS Labs) to include a price redetermination for an overall increase of up to 3%, extend the contract for one (1) year through and including September 30, 2017 and further authorize the Purchasing Agent to finalize and execute same, Medical Examiner.
