Department Action

We are currently in the process of purchasing right-of-way required for the future Collin County Outer Loop/U.S. Highway 75 interchange. There are six (6) properties affected and all six are going to Special Commissioners Hearing. While it is difficult to predict the number of appeals, it is anticipated that up to four (4) may end up at Jury Trial. As such, we estimate that $350,000 could be needed to cover legal costs associated with trying these cases.
