Department Action

This project consists of replacing a bridge at FM 455 and Bilderback Creek and at Honey Creek. The bridge replacement project is scheduled to be let in January 2018.

The agreement stipulates TxDOT will be responsible for acquiring the right-of-way. TxDOT will be responsible for 90% of the right-of-way and all costs and fees associated with the right-of-way acquisition. Collin County will be responsible for 10% of the right-of-way and associated costs.

TxDOT estimates the cost of right-of-way will be $377,304. The county’s 10% share will be $37,730.

We request the following budget adjustment to move available funds from the 2003 Discretionary account 03-115 to a NEW 2003 Bond Project 03-100;

ACTION:
We request Commissioners Court:
1) Approve the Agreement to Contribute Right of Way Funds (FIXED PRICE) for the FM 455 at Bilderback Creek and Honey Creek; and
2) Approve the associated budget adjustment and creation of the New Project Code #03-100; and
3) Allow Judge Keith Self to sign the agreement.

Collin County's 10% contribution is $37,730.00.
