Requesting the use of private grant funds to pay for CCSO to receive access to an encrypted voice, text video and file sharing communications system from Secured Communications. Collin County will not incur any cost associated with this file sharing communication system.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval requesting the use of private grant funds to pay for CCSO to receive access to an encrypted voice, text video and file sharing communications system from Secured Communications. The grant program is intended to assist agencies with protecting non-radio communications from interception vulnerabilities associated with mobile phone and tablet communications. The grant program will pay for one year of service. Collin County will not incur any cost associated with this file sharing communication system. jd
