Department Action

Information Technology is requesting approval of a contract amendment to the existing Tyler Technologies software contract. In April, 2012, Commissioner’s Court approved the eCitations project where Collin County entered into a contract with Brazos Technologies. In May, 2015, Tyler Technologies acquired Brazos Technology. During a review by Tyler Technologies of our Brazos contract, Tyler recommended an adjustment to our contract that would result in lower licensing costs for Brazos software maintenance. This contract amendment will result in a software maintenance cost reduction in the amount of $1,500.00. Collin County agrees with this change and recommends amending the current Tyler Technologies contract to reflect the reduction.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval of Amendment to Software, E-Citation/Ticketing for Sheriff's Office and Constables, Contract No. 02130-11, with Tyler Technologies, Inc. per the attached amendment; further authorize the Purchasing Agent to finalize and execute same.

The Assignment and Assumption to change the name from Brazos Technology Corporation to Tyler Technologies, Inc. is scheduled for Commissioners Court on Monday, October 17, 2016. cw
