Department Action

The Project includes Design, ROW acquisition, and construction for an ultimate 6-lane divided roadway from US 75 to Fannin Rd. The city will only build half the roadway at this time. The project is estimated at $3,000,000.

The County’s 50% participation, or $1,500,000, would come from the City’s 2007 Bond Project #07-052.

ACTION:
We request Commissioners Court consider approval of the Interlocal Agreement between Collin County and the City of Melissa for the Design and Construction of Fannin Rd. from SH 121 (Sam Rayburn Freeway) to Approx. 2,300 feet south of Melissa Rd., 2007 Bond Project #07-052, and authorize Judge Keith Self to sign the ILA.

Collin County's participation is a NTE $1,500,000.00.
