Department Action

The Project includes Preliminary Design and Right of way Acquisition only for a 4-lane divided roadway from SH 121 to SH 5. The project is estimated at $1,080,000.

The County’s participation would come from the following sources:
1) $125,000 allocated to this project #07-018, from the 2007 Bond Program
2) $335,000 in unused funds from the Town of Fairview’s Bond Project 07-016, Stacy Rd from FM 1378 to Ashcroft
3) $80,000 in unused funds from the Town of Fairview’s Bond Project 07-017, FM 1378 from Lucas Boundary to farmstead.

This ILA authorizes the County’s 50% share of the project cost, in the amount of $540,000.

ACTION:
We request Commissioners Court consider approval of the Interlocal Agreement between Collin County and the Town of Fairview for the Design and Right of Way Acquisition of Frisco Road from SH 121 to SH 5; 2007 Bond Project #07-018, and authorize Judge Keith Self to sign the ILA.

Collin County's participation is a NTE $540,000.00.

Budgeted funds available in Town of Fairview Bond Projects 07-016 and 07-017 for Budget Adjustments totaling $415,000 to 07-018 as well as the originally allocated $125,000. Total estimated project cost is $1,080,000 with a 50% share not to exceed $540,000 from Collin County. See fiscal impact tab for details. Bond Funds (435, 436, 439).
