Department Action

The Project includes Preliminary Design and Right of way Acquisition only of a new 4/6-lane divided roadway from Stacy Road to Indian Springs and new 4-lane divided roadway from Fairview Village to Medical center Drive. The project is estimated at $6,120,000.

The County’s participation would come from the following sources:
1) Collin County Commissioners Court approved the 2007 Discretionary prioritization list to include this project on October 20, 2014, Court Order #2014-810-10-20 in the amount of $855,000.
2) $1,600,000 allocated to this project from the 2007 Bond Program
3) $605,000 in unused funds from the City of Fairview’s Bond Project 07-016, Stacy Rd from FM 1378 to Ashcroft

This ILA authorizes the County’s 50% share of the project cost, in the amount of $3,060,000.

ACTION:
We request Commissioners Court consider approval of the Interlocal Agreement between Collin County and the Town of Fairview for the Design and Right of Way Acquisition of Fairview Parkway from Stacy Road to Indian Springs and from Fairview Village rd. to Medical Center Drive; 2007 Bond Project #07-019, and authorize Judge Keith Self to sign the ILA.

Collin County's participation is a NTE $3,060,000.00.

Budgeted funds available in Bond Projects 07-00-00 and 07-016 for Budget Adjustments totaling $1,460,000 to 07-019 as well as the originally allocated $1,600,000.
