Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval to accept the 2016 UASI - Collin County - Regional Fusion Center Analyst (LE) grant. sh

Budget Department Action

Grant funds salary and benefits for a Fusion Center Analyst for 22.5 months as well as two Fusion Center Research Specialists for 12 months. Change in FY 2014 funding request includes the subtraction of funding for the Fusion Analyst’s cell phone. Fusion Analyst does have a county issued cell phone. Grant funds total $250,000 with no county match. Grant period is from September 1, 2016 through August 31, 2018.

Auditor's Office Action

Grant award in the amount of $250,000 federal funds with no county match required. Grant application reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached.

Acceptance of the FY2016 UASI DFWA LETPA Grant in the amount of $250,000 through the Office of the Governor, Homeland Security Grants Division to fund the salary and benefits for a Fusion Center Analyst for 22.5 months and two (2) Fusion Center Research Specialists for 12 months, Sheriff.
