Department Action

We request Commissioners Court consider approval of the Interlocal Agreement with the City of Princeton concerning Phase II, Construction of Beauchamp Blvd., from US380 to Monte Carlo Blvd., County Bond Project # 07-00-33.

The City has completed Phase I, Engineering and is ready to begin construction. The City estimates the total actual cost to be $7,821,116. The County agrees to participate in funding not to exceed totaling $3,000,000. The project shall consist of construction of approximately 5500 linear feet, of a four-lane thoroughfare. The City agreed that funding for this project is through reallocation of funds from bond project 07-077, Monte Carlo Blvd from US380 to FM75.

We request Commissioners’ Court consider approval of the Interlocal Agreement with the City of Princeton, authorize County Judge Keith Self to sign the agreement, and approve the budget adjustment to establish a new bond project code.

Collin County's participation is a NTE $3,000,000.00.
