Department Action

I respectfully submit to Commissioner's Court requesting approval of the Black & Veatch Consulting contract. This contract will cover Phase III of the Public Safety Radio Project which includes the implementation and completion of the trunked radio system replacement.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval to 1) enter into agreement with Black & Veatch Corporation for Consulting Services for the Phase III implementation and completion of the P25 trunked radio system replacement and 2) authorize exemption from the bidding process per Local Government Code 262.024(a)(4) and authorize Purchasing Agent to execute same.

Phase 1 and 2 of the project has been completed by Black & Veatch Corporation (fomerly RCC Consultants) under the cooperative contract HGAC Contract HP07-13, All Hazards Preparedness, Planning, Consulting and Recovery Services. This contract has expired and Black & Veatch is no longer on a cooperative contract.
