Department Action

This is to request Commissioners' Court approval to apply for the FY 2018 PHEP/Hazards grant application in the amount of $545,327. A 10% match is required for all funds spent. This will be achieved through in-kind support from Collin County staff and MRC volunteer hours ($54,515). The total budget, including projected matching, is $599,842.

Public Health Emergency Preparedness FY 2018 Grant in the amount of $545,327 in federal funds with a required 10% match of $54,515 in-kind from existing county personnel and MRC volunteer hours. The total budget, including projected matching, is $599,842. Grant funding consist of personnel and benefits as well as training and travel, supplies, equipment, software, and cell phones. County could be responsible for the maintenance of equipment after the grant term expires. Grant period is July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018.
