Department Action

This is to request Commissioners' Court approval for the FY 2018 CRI grant application in the amount of $128,650. A 10% match is required for all funds spent. This will be achieved through in-kind support from Collin County staff and MRC volunteer hours ($12,862). The total budget, including projected matching, is $141,512.

Budget Department Action

Cities Readiness Initiative (CRI) FY 2018 Grant in the amount of $128,650 in federal funds with a required 10% in-kind match of $12,862 from existing personnel and MRC volunteer hours. The total budget, including projected matching, is $141,512. Grant funding includes personnel and benefits as well as training and travel, supplies, and cell-phones. No additional equipment required. County could be responsible for any continued maintenance after the grant term expires. Grant period is July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018.

Grant application has been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Federal funds requested in the amount of $128,650 with a required in kind match in the amount of $12,862.
