Department Action

This is a request to accept the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Grant funding through adoption of Interlocal Agreement with the City of Dallas.

ICAC Grant # 2016-MC-FX-K034 has allocated $18,000.00 to Collin County, with no matching funds required. Collin County has participated in this grant project with the City of Dallas for a number of years. The acceptance of this agreement will continue that partnership.

These funds may be used for expenses incurred for equipment, travel, training, overtime, and undercover expenses regarding operations to combat internet crimes against children. There are no Collin County funds required for this grant.

Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval of Interlocal Agreement with City of Dallas for Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) grant funding for equipment, travel, training, overtime and undercover expenses to combat internet crimes against children and authorize County Judge to execute same. sh
