Department Action

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is requesting Commissioners Court’s approval of Amendment Number 3 for the above referenced contract. This amendment will:

1. Decrease funding for Fiscal Year 2017, thereby decreasing the total Maximum TCEQ
obligation from $327,904 to $32,430

This amendment results from Collin County’s desire to continue our funding partnership with the Regional Transportation Council (RTC) allowing the use of CMAQ funds in exchange for our relinquishment of LIP funds. The relinquished funds will be made available to the other eight (8) participating counties in North Texas.

All other conditions and requirements of this contract remain unchanged.

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval of Contract Amendment No. 3 to the Inter-Governmental Cooperative Reimbursement Agreement between the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and Collin County for the Local Initiative Project (LIP) Program - TCEQ Contract Number 582-14-40119. The amendment decreases funding for Fiscal Year 2017, thereby decreasing the total maximum TCEQ Obligation from $327,904.00 to $32,430.00. Further authorize the County Judge to finalize and execute same. md
