Request Commissioner's Court consideration and approval to apply for access to the 10-33 Military Surplus Program. This program allows law enforcement agencies to obtain Military surplus items such as weapons and other equipment for their use. Items may include weapons and other equipment. This program must be re-applied for each year.

Budget Department Action

Request for approval to apply for access to the Federal Government 10-33 Surplus Program. In the event the Sheriff's Office were to accept any property, the County would be responsible for any transportation, turn-in, transfer, repair, maintenance, insurance, disposal, repossession or other expenses related to the property accepted. Funding is not budgeted for any associated costs and would need to be identified if property is accepted.
