Department Action

Request approval of the attached budget adjustment for 2016 UASI Grant Adjustment Notice. The budget adjustment provides funding for the position change of one Research Specialist (Grade 532) to a Research Analyst (Grade 557). All funding for this position change comes from UASI 2016 funding and there is no cost to Collin County's budget.

Position change. Funding is for the beginning of the pay grade.

Budget Department Action

Per grant adjustment attached to change the position; This position does have a county issued cell phone. Grant funds total $250,000 with no county match. Grant period is from September 1, 2016 through August 31, 2018.

Auditor's Office Action

Original grant had been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Budget amendment does not change grant award amount but only moves funding between budgeted grant employee positions in the grant.

2016 Grant Adjustment Notice for the FY2016 UASI DFWA LETPA Grant through the Office of the Governor, Homeland Security Grants Division to move funds to the appropriate budget line items for a position change of one (1) Research Specialist to a Research Analyst, Fusion Center.
