Department Action

Request Commissioner's Court consideration and approval to participate in the US Marshals Task Force. The intent of the joint effort is to investigate and apprehend local, state and federal fugitives who have warrants for their arrest, thereby improving public safety and reducing violent crime.

Auditor's Office Action

MOU reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Federal funds in the amount of $13,488 for overtime of two Sheriff’s Office deputies. No county match is required. Intent of this joint MOU is to investigate and apprehend local, state and federal fugitives who have warrants for their arrests, thereby improving public safety and reducing violent crime.
