Department Action

The City of Plano has completed the reconstruction of 15th Street from G Ave. to 500 feet west of US 75. The project included Street Paving, Signal improvements, Sidewalk, Storm Drain, Sanitary Sewer, Waterline, relocations, Street Lighting, Landscape, and Franchise Utility Relocations

The total cost of the project was $6,500,000. Approval if the Interlocal Agreement will commit the County Bond funds for a total of $2,600,000. The funding will come from the following City of Plano Bond Projects:

$600,000 from 07-063 – 15th Street from G Ave to US 75
$500,000 from 07-064 – Chapparral Bridge over Cotton Wood Creek
$1,500,000 from #07-065 – Spring Creek Parkway from Park Blvd. to Parker Rd.
TOTAL: $2,600,000

ACTION:
We request Commissioners Court consider approval of the Interlocal Agreement between Collin County and the City of Plano for the reconstruction of 15th Street from G Ave. to US 75; 2007 Bond Project #07-063. Collin County participation of $2,600,000 and authorize Judge Keith Self to sign the ILA.

Collin County's participation is a NTE $2,600,000.
