Department Action
Information Technology is requesting Commissioner Court authorize a modification to the disaster recovery (DR) inter-local agreement with the City of Plano. The modified agreement, initially approved under court order 2016-651-09-12, incorporates language to allow the county to reimburse the City of Plano for the costs incurred to prepare the space for our disaster recovery equipment. These costs include the electrical, HVAC, and equipment pod components needed to begin building the DR site.

This project is budgeted and will be funded through the project designed to renovate the Plano 920 building for about half of the projected cost.

Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval of first modification to Interlocal Agreement with City of Plano for Disaster Recovery Support to the County (Agreement 2016-354) to incorporate language to allow the county to reimburse the City of Plano for the costs incurred to prepare the space for our disaster recovery equipment, and authorize County Judge to execute same. sh
