Department Action

This memorandum is respectfully submitted requesting the court’s approval to accept a 2018 Dodge Durango loaner vehicle. This vehicle would be replaced with another on six (6) month intervals from Dodge City of McKinney. These vehicles will be used by the Collin County Sheriff’s Office during the recruitment process. They will be on display at job fairs, recruiting trips, and high profile events such as the Plano Balloon Festival. All maintenance, upkeep, and wrap design would be provided by Dodge City of McKinney. The only expense to the county would be insurance and gas. Your consideration in this matter is appreciated.

HR and/or IT Action
Vehicles are self insured so there is no cost for insurance on the vehicle. Liability coverage is a blanket policy and not impacted by the addition of one vehicle.
Budget Department Action
Collin County will be responsible for fuel and insurance.
