Department Action

The City of Plano has completed the widening for Windhaven parkway from the western city limits to Spring Creek Parkway. The project widened the roadway to 4-lanes from Spring Creek Parkway to Parkwood Blvd. and to 6-lanes from Parkwood Blvd. to the western city limits.

The City has indicated that the final cost of the project is $4.8 M. The 2007 Collin County Bond program allocated $1.6 Million to this project. The attached ILA would commit $1.1M, leaving $500,000 to be reallocated.

ACTION:
We request Commissioners Court consider approval of the Interlocal Agreement with the City of Plano for the widening of Windhaven Parkway from City Limits to Spring Creek Parkway; 2003 Bond Project #03-065; Plano CIP #5741. Collin County participation $1,100,000 and authorize Judge Keith Self to sign the ILA.

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval of the Interlocal Agreement between Collin County and the City of Plano concerning the design and construction of Windhaven Parkway from City Limits to Spring Creek Parkway, 2003 Bond Project #03-065, Plano CIP #5741; further authorize the County Judge to execute same. md

Collin County's participation is a NTE $1,100,000.00.
