Department Action

Under the provision of House Bill 1445, passed by the 77th Legislature of the State of Texas, on March 25, 2002, Collin County and the City of Parker executed the original agreement for the enforcement of subdivision regulations within the city’s extraterritorial jurisdiction. (CO#2002-203-03-25)

In accordance with the statue, both parties can agree to amend the agreement. In this First Amendment the County and the City are seeking to clarify “related permits”. In doing so the city and county agree that “related permits” speaks to those permits associated with laying out the subdivision and infrastructure only and does not relate to the building of structures or issuance of septic permits on the lots themselves.
