Department Action

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is requesting Commissioners Court’s approval of Amendment Number 3 for the above referenced contract. This amendment will:

1. Extend the Expiration Date of the Agreement from 8/31/2017 to 6/28/2019

All other conditions and requirements of Contract 582-12-20275 approved by Commissioners Court Order No. 2011-987-12-19 remain unchanged.

The TCEQ has been formally notified of our desire to opt out of LIRAP. We have asked that the fee collection end as soon as possible. In order for our residents to benefit from fees previously collected under this program, we will need to have a contract (Reimbursement Agreement) in place with TCEQ. As such, the attached contract amendment extending the expiration date of our Reimbursement Agreement with TCEQ until June 28, 2019 is requested.

Further authorize the County Judge to execute same. md
