Department Action

This is to notify Commissioners Court of a budget amendment in the amount of $9,326. The amendment is to move the budget for grant funding received for use on the Mobile Incident Command Unit, approved on Court Order 2010-023-01-04 dated January 4, 2010. The grant funds were received from FEMA for the deployment of the MICP in response to hurricanes that hit Texas. Funds were to be utilized for maintenance and upgrades on the MICP. The funds did not expire and Collin County was to keep the funds until fully expended. The grant funds are being moved to the county budget in which MICP maintenance is budgeted and expended in order to fully expend the grant funds.
