this memorandum is respectfully submitted requesting the court's approval to purchase (2) Precision 7.62 rifles with scope and accessories. Our objective is to field a designated marksman on each patrol shift, thereby having a tactical marksman on duty 24 hours a day. We are requesting that these two rifles be purchased out of the One Time Budget account, 001-5001-640.87-04, for a total of $13,014.
