Dispose of Mobile Shelving currently located in District Clerks office

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding the approval to order the following property be destroyed or otherwise disposed of as worthless per VTCA LGC 263.152 (a)(3). Collin County Commissioners Court has attempted to sell by bid and auction with no results. Furthermore, Purchasing has reached out to multiple governmental entities within the county to determine interest and received no responses. The property to be disposed of is the mobile shelving in the District Clerks office purchased approximately ten (10) years ago. 2ea – Stationary shelf units 24 ¾ “ wide x 32 ½ ‘ long x 7’11” tall 6ea – Mobile shelf units 24 ½ “ wide x 32 ½ ‘ long x 7’11” tall The shelves are 11 ½ “ deep (letter size).
