Department Action

The District Attorney will use up to $100.00 from the District Attorney State Forfeiture Special Revenue Fund (Fund 37) for refreshments and supplies for the Texas Violence Gang Task Force (North Region) Training that will be held in the Central Jury Room of the Collin County Courthouse on January 25, 2017, for law enforcement.

The use of this fund for the above purposes is specifically authorized by Texas law. Article 59.06 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure authorizes expenditures for “meals” and "conferences and training expenses" that relate to preservation, enforcement, or administration of Texas law.
