Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action to accept the three Citibank rebates as follows:

Rebate 1 in the amount of $12,010.68 for the time period of September 4, 2015-September 3, 2016. The rebate was calculated at a rate of .00178313% of the total Collin County spending of $673,572.93.

Rebate 2 in the amount of $13,927.75 for the time period of September 4, 2016-June 3, 2017. The rebate was calculated at a rate of .01787928% of the total Collin County spending of $772,275.57.

Rebate 3 in the amount of $3,203.79 for the time period of June 4, 2017-September 3, 2017. The rebate was calculated at .01330809% of the total Collin County spending of $240,740.01.

The total of the three rebated is $29,142.22.

Per the previous authorization of Court Order #2011-893-11-07, request that the three ACH deposits be credited into account #001-1001-384-5941 for the Going the Extra Mile Employee Incentive Program.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding the approval to accept three Citibank rebates for a total of $29,142.22. See attached. Per the previous authorization of Court Order #2011-893-11-07, request that the three ACH deposits be credited into account #001-1001-384-5941 for the Going the Extra Mile Employee Incentive Program.

Rebate deposited into revenue account 001-1001-381.59-41. BUDGET AMENDMENT on Fiscal Impact Tab to record these budgeted funds to GEM Award expenditure account per CO#2008-1030-11-11 and CO#2010-907-11-01 General Fund (001).

204 GEM Awards are authorized for FY 2018 at a total cost (if all were awarded) of $90,895.21. 7 GEMs have been awarded for FY 2018 as of 02-07-2018. 202 were authorized in FY 2017 and 107 were awarded. $151,751.66 currently available for GEM Awards (amount includes this rebate).

Auditor's Office Action

Funds available in the General Fund. Budget amendment will be processed upon approval.

Total revenues for the GEM Awards program for year to date fiscal year 2018 are $3,203.79. Total Gem Awards expenditures are $2,818.06.
