Department Action

The Collin County Criminal District Attorney will use up to $2,500.00 from the District Attorney Federal Forfeiture Special Revenue Fund (Fund 60) for ammunition for a 2 day rifle certification course for D.A. Investigators.

The use of Fund 60 for this purpose is specifically authorized by the Department of Treasury's Guide to Equitable Sharing for Foreign Countries and Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement Agencies. The Treasury's Guide "pre-approve[s]" expense for: (c) Law Enforement Equipment & Operations; and (b) Law Enforcement Training. (Pages 20 & 21).
