Department Action

Ratification of the County Judge’s prior approval to apply for a county feral hog grant. The period of the grant is from April 20, 2018 to August 31, 2018, totaling in the amount of $6,280.00.

Ratification of Judges prior approval and any action regarding approval to apply for the FY2018 County Feral Hog Grant from the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service. sh

Budget Department Action

FY 2018 Feral Hog Grant in the amount of $1,890 in state funds and a required County match of $1,250 for a program total of $3,140. County match will be paid from the Animal Control Budget. Funding will cover a bounty of $5 per hog for up to 500 hogs and the Landfill fees of $32 for 20 weeks. Grant term is October 1, 2017 through August 31, 2018.

Auditor's Office Action

Grant application has been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Application for State grant funds in the amount of $1,890 with a required county cash match of $1,250. Funding for bounties and landfill fess to reduce the feral hog population. The grant period is from 10/1/2017 through 8/31/2018.
