Requesting Commissioners' Court consideration and approval to utilize travel funds for Judge John Payton to attend the Texas Justice Court Training Center Justice of the Peace Seminar in Lubbock, Texas 5/29/18-6/1/18.

This request is being submitted in compliance with the County's Exiting Elected Official Expenditure Policy, Local Government Code Section 130.908. The Rules of Judicial Education state that as an official duty, each Justice of the Peace is required to receive 20 hours of judicial education including 10 hours of civil courses annually. This training will meet this requirement.
