Department Action

Transfer $5,365.00 from Federal Forfeiture Fund to one time non capitol (87.04) to purchase (5) 9mm select-fire rifles, (5) 32 round magazines and (5) 17 round magazines. These weapons are for law enforcement use only by the CCSO.
These firearms will be issued to deputies to utilize in special circumstances where over-penetration of 5.56 mm ammunition is a concern. These weapons will be used with sub-sonic frangible 9mm ammunition during high-risk prisoner transports, PSD operations and on high-risk apprehensions in certain locales.
