Department Action

The Engineering Department requests Commissioners’ Courts authorization to advertise for construction of parking areas and driveways at Myers Park. Existing asphalt parking areas and interconnecting driveways will be upgraded from asphalt to concrete using Open Space bond funds.

Our engineer’s estimate of construction cost is approximately $1,500,000.

If approved, we anticipate that a contract will be awarded in November, construction would begin in January with estimated completion in summer 2019.
