The North Texas Regional Veterans Court respectfully requests approval of a contracted position already approved through the original 2018/2019 Texas Veterans Commission grant. The position is for a Mental Health Consultant and is to be filled by Dr. Tracie Kaip, PsyD. The previously approved fulltime position has been amended to a part-time position.

Budget Department Action

Personal Services Agreement (Contract No. 2018-433) for a Mental Health Consultant for the North Texas Regional Veterans Court with Dr. Tracie Kaip PsyD. Grant awarded in the amount of $30,000. As of today, October 4, 2018, we have not received approved contract amendment to increase contract amount from $30,000 to $46,150. Contract term effective August 20, 2018 through June 30, 2019. Funding available through 2018-2019 Texas Veterans Court Grant.

Auditor's Office Action

Contract for consultant in the amount up to $46,150. Current grant contract budget allows for payment of consultant up to the amount of $30,000. A contract amendment has been submitted for new amount and is pending approval.

Commissioners Court

Personal Services Agreement with Dr. Tracie A. Kaip, PsyD for a Mental Health Consultant for the North Texas Regional Veterans Court and further authorize the Purchasing Agent to finalize and execute same, 296th District Court.
